Sanding naturally creates dust, but we take extra steps to minimise it by using dust-control equipment and carefully preparing your home before work begins. Once the job is complete, we thoroughly clean the work area. While we make every effort to remove all dust, a small amount may remain in hard-to-reach places such as corners, edges, or ceiling surfaces.

You can walk on your floors with socks after 24 hours. For moving furniture back in, we recommend waiting 7 days. For heavy items like sofas, fridges or beds, please wait at least 2 weeks to avoid damage.

Keep in mind this can vary depending on the type of finish used and your specific timber. As a general rule, light foot traffic is fine after 24 hours.

Yes, all furniture must be moved out of the rooms before we start. We need completely empty floors to sand and finish properly.
